This is a follow up session to our previous VCS Assist forum events, to update providers and other VCS organisations on the latest developments with regard to the new ESF programme in London. Our  last forum event was in May 2014.

The aim of this event is to give you as much information as possible to assist organisations to prepare for bidding and partnership building when commissioning begins in 2015. We will have a particular focus on the Lottery ESF programme, 'Building Better Opportunities'.

The agenda will include:

  • Rita Chircop (GLA European Programmes Unit): update on the programme development process and likely priorities and target groups for the first tranche of commissioning
  • Sufina Ahmad (Big Lottery Fund): current thinking on commissioning approach and timescales for the Big Lottery ESF programme
  • Sandra Turner (NCVO European Funding Network): National VCS perspective on ESF in England, developments with Partnership Agreement, Operational Programme, Growth Board
  • London Councils (TBC)
  • Panel discussion with reps from VCS, SFA, DWP (TBC)
