PEACe Service to Close 31st March 2016

Dear Colleague,

It is with deep regret that we announce the closure of our PEACe HR Service with effect from March 31st 2016. We know that this will be a great loss to many voluntary and community organisations in London and beyond. Unfortunately LVSC, like many other organisations, have had to make changes to the way in which we deliver our services as a result of continued funding cuts. While PEACe is a much valued service by those who access it, there simply are not enough organisations purchasing PEACe services for us to continue running the service.

We are very sorry to be losing such a valuable resource for London VCS but are even sorrier to lose our PEACe Manager, Shirley Briggs, who has been an immense asset to PEACe over the last 10 years.

However, we do intend to ensure there is some legacy of PEACe for the sector and I am pleased to say that LVSC will maintain two of our products which we hope will prove invaluable to organisations as they seek to manage their organisations effectively.

These products are the Staff Handbook & Managers Toolkit and the on-line document bank. While LVSC will not be continuing with consultancy support we do have a number of associates that we can signpost to so please do let us know if you would like a referral.
